Michelle Pajak-Reynolds
Michelle Pajak-Reynolds began designing jewelry at 5 years old after being inspired by the power bracelets and tiara worn by actress Lynda Carter in the Wonder Woman television series. And her history with jewelry goes back even further as her parents met and fell in love across a jewelry case; Michelle's mom was a jewelry department manager and her dad was a Cleveland Clinic police officer. Michelle's formal jewelry and metalsmithing training began in a 10th grade jewelry class at Mentor High School and she went on to perfect her artistic and business skills via a BFA in Jewelry from Kent State University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Baldwin-Wallace University.
Michelle founded her eponymous jewelry company in 2001 and specializes in extraordinary jewelry for extraordinary women: independent spirits forging their own path and inspiring others to do the same. Handcrafted in gemstones, pearls and recycled precious metals in her Stow, Ohio studio, Michelle’s creations are feminine and ethereal art to wear that stirs the soul. In addition to designing her signature collections, Michelle works one-on-one with collectors to create breathtaking one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.
Michelle Pajak-Reynolds jewelry is highly sought after by editors, fashion stylists, celebrities and collectors. Her pieces have been exhibited internationally and worn by celebrities including Raven-Symone, Sophia Bush, Jillian Barberie, Nona Gaye, Dina Manzo, and Miss Brazil Debora Lyra. Michelle's designs have been featured on the red carpet at the Primetime Emmy Awards, the runways of New York Fashion Week, aboard the United Nations Peace Boat, and in numerous publications including National Jeweler, MJSA Journal, Metalsmith, Niche, on the covers of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, LA Brides, and Created Woman magazines.
Michelle's work has been recognized with a Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award from Sales & Marketing Executives International, an Arts Business Challenge Award from the Council of Smaller Enterprises and she is the winner of the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America Old Becomes New Design Challenge (2010).
