The assurance of a perfection that natural born stones cannot deliver.
Moissanite stones have been around for decades now, presenting to the buyers’ most favorable alternatives to diamonds. Practically indistinguishable from real stones, moissanites are the perfect synthetic lookalikes of real diamonds.
Moissanites are originally natural stones first mined in Canyon Diablo in 1893. The doctor who found it at first mistook it for a diamond. Further investigation revealed that it wasn’t a diamond, but a mineral that is similar to it. Optically similar, black Moissanite is different than a natural black diamond in more than just one way.
But Moissanites are very rare in nature. Driven by their scarcity, Moissanites today are engineered in laboratories. The manmade ones too are close visually and compositionally to original diamonds
